Author Guidelines – MEST Journal
Important
- Publication is free of charge for authors and readers.
- Estimated processing time is less than two weeks after submission of the final version of the article.
Editorial Policy
MEST Journal does not provide full English language editing. Manuscripts are checked for spelling and formal style, but authors are responsible for clarity and correctness. Authors are encouraged to seek professional language editing before submission.
Editorial interventions are limited to:
- correcting grammar, spelling, and typographic errors;
- ensuring consistency with APA 7 and journal formatting;
- standardizing tables, figures, and references.
Editorial interventions do not include:
- rewriting arguments or altering the author’s style;
- modifying rhetorical choices, idioms, or tone (unless clarity is endangered);
- changing the substance of the argument.
Submission
Submit manuscripts via email: mest.sp@meste.org
Formatting
Manuscript should be prepared as a camera ready, and submitted as MS Word document.
- 10-point Arial font for body text, Italics for emphasis, automatic page numbering. All styles are defined in the MEST_Template.docx
- to make tables, use the table function, not spreadsheets;
- Figures must be submitted separately in high quality, 600dpi minimum.
- References must follow APA7 style.
Proofreading
After the decision that the paper will be published, a processed article will be returned to the author for approval. Substantial changes require editor approval.
